EGSA GROUP PROJECT FUND (EGPF)
Provides funding for costs associated with events and activities of EGSA members who wish to start a club or association on campus.
The purpose of the club or association can be either academic, cultural or social; however, it must meet the following criteria:
a) It must be of interest to at least three or more EGSA members and
b) It must be open to all EGSA members
To apply for the fund, the applicant must submit a short statement describing the intent and purpose of the club or association and collect three or more signatures from interested EGSA members.
The applicant must also submit a short-projected budget of expenses.*

EGSA EMERGENCY FUND (EEF)
Provides financial assistance to EGSA members who are struggling with the cost of living while attending university.
The fund is intended to be used for such things as groceries, bills and other essentials that the student may not otherwise have access to.
To apply for the fund, the applicant must submit a short statement outlining their need and how soon they require the funds.**
The application should be submitted by e-mail to gsa.english@uottawa.ca
Approval is subject to the availability of total EGSA funds in any given semester and the total number of applications received.
* A group is only eligible for one EGPF per semester.
The EGSA may distribute between one (1) and four (4) EGPFs per semester. The maximum amount of the award is $250.00.
** A student is only eligible for one EEF per semester.
